Mozambique - Maritime Ports Assessments (ISPS code)

Security Consultancy.  Mozambique Government required its ports to meet stringent new International Maritime Organisation regulations (to be ISPS Code compliant) to avoid serious commercial impact if ships could not dock there.

Mozambique Government needed ports assessments to be carried out on very short notice.  On award of contract TOR deployed a team of 6 to country.  The team quickly set about liaising with ports authorities, assessing seven ports concurrently and writing up reports under significant time pressure.

Comprehensive reports were submitted in Portuguese via our partners Bureau Veritas in time for the Mozambique Government to meet its deadline and critical shipping was unaffected.
